Elementary school is a tough time in the lives of many children. Most kids report a lot of boredom at school. They hate homework and would rather be playing outside. Although recess is fun, most of their time is spent doing some things that they find boring. Perhaps this is a good idea given that some kids will end up doing a job they don't like! However, shouldn't elementary school be a time when kids have some fun? Obviously you need to teach them some critical skills, but it is also important for them to enjoy themselves. One way to do so is to encourage their creative side. If kids are given an opportunity to express themselves and control a creative product you will find that they enjoy school much more. Regular creative projects will dramatically change the way elementary school kids think about learning. Because most kids love animals it is a good idea to integrate this love with their creativity. Although most kids don't know how to draw animals they can learn to color them. Described below are some of my favorite animal coloring crafts for elementary school.
Most of the games involve child-like characters in the lead role, and players have to accomplish certain task to finish the mission. Graphics and other features in the game usually captivate and attract the children to a large extent. This is one of the reasons why kids often demand for Anime games more than others.
Famous Anime character that everybody enjoys is Pokémon and he is often seen accompanied by Pikachu in most of the game series. While playing this game, a player is assigned to complete a mission. It is during this mission, you will be introduced to the virtual world, where you have to think like the Pokémon character and act accordingly.
There is a famous study by David and Ann Premack who suggested that it is possible to teach human language to nonhuman apes. They worked with chimpanzees and a famous bonobo Kanzi to suggest that certain animals can also learn human language and can also spontaneously produce and recognize words. Some language learning has also been seen in birds like parrots but although parrots show rote learning by trial and error, chimpanzees and bonobos may just show some rudimentary form of intelligent behavior in their manipulation of language. Across the animal kingdom we have come across many cases and examples, when animals sulk or get depressed when they lose a mate or a young one, just like us humans. Animals also show very organized and complex mating behavior, highly developed learning behavior and even their social life seem to be based on survival strategies.
Most of the Anime games are fun-filled and it also has a moral value behind every mission for the young players. Online games are getting popular among the people all age groups, as they can be accessed and played anytime of the day. People can easily look for a website that offers free online games.
2. Create your own animal contest. Have the children color various animals in whatever way they like. If a child wants to color a monkey purple allow them to do so. Then cut up various parts of the colored images. Cut the body parts off of the animals and place them in a pile on a table. Then have the kids assemble animals out of the parts. The final product will be a remarkable and weird compilation. This exercise usually really gets the kids laughing as they create funny and weird animals.
